Ees Wyke Country House, Near Sawrey

Dining at Ees Wyke was nothing short of a culinary delight. The dinner was absolutely delicious, and I witnessed firsthand Richard's very nice talent as a chef. The pheasant I had was perfectly cooked and presented, rivaling fine dining establishments. Breakfast was equally impressive, with freshly squeezed juices, baked pastries, and a hearty Full English that set me up for the day. Truly a gourmet experience!

The room I stayed in at Ees Wyke was beautifully decorated and extremely comfortable. The large window offered a stunning view of the surrounding area, and I appreciated the thoughtful touches like the decanter of sherry. It was a perfect sanctuary after long days exploring the nearby walks. I also loved that the room had all the amenities needed for a relaxing stay.

My room at Ees Wyke offered not only comfort but also an very nice view that made waking up a joy. The decor was charming and traditional, which added to the overall warmth of the country house. Not a sound could be heard at night, allowing for peaceful nights of uninterrupted rest. It was like a cozy retreat where every detail was well thought out.

The bathroom in my room was exceptionally clean and beautifully furnished with plush towels. There was even a bathtub, perfect for soaking after a day of walking. I appreciated the attention to detail, like the quality toiletries provided. It truly made my stay much more enjoyable and relaxing.
